The East Lancashire Railway Autumn Diesel event 2010

On the 16th and 17th October 2010 The East Lancs Railway held Yet another Top Class Diesel Event. Once again The E.L.R put together a great event with the likes of 40145 East Lancashire Railway, 37901 Mirlees Pioneer, 50015 Valiant , 37109, 55022 Royal Scots Grey, D1505, 33109 and a DMU shuttle service between Bury Bolton street and Ramsbottom. I believe 50008 Thunderer developed a fault on the first run of the Saturday morning, and yours truly missed the chance to film due to my late arrival. ( I really must win the lottery, This 'Having to work for a living' is interfering with my social activities.) I cant thank everyone involved in the Diesel event enough. Myself and I am sure, a lot of others appreciate all the hard work you guys put in

Walk along beside the River Irwell.Just as it bends towards the motorway bridge a path has been worn through the bushes ( presumably a shortcut to somewhere ) It brings you out near the bridge
