Created, designed, and built by Nikolai Zykov in 1983.
Puppet form: short string marionette.
Height: 94 cm / 37 in.
Materials: papier-mache, foam plastic, foam rubber, wood, metal wire, fabric, natural candles.
First public presentation - October 27, 1983, Concert Hall of the Moscow Aviation University.
The puppet dances ancient minuet and simultaneously lights and puts out real candles.
Nikolai Zykov - Russian actor, producer, artist, designer, master of puppetry, author of over 20 puppet performances.
Nikolai Zykov has created and has made over 80 puppet vignettes with participation of marionettes, hand, rod, giant, glow, electric, radio-controlled and experimental puppets. Puppets of Nikolay Zykov took part in many popular TV shows in Russia and abroad. Culture TV Channel calls Nikolai Zykov "the most titled puppeteer of Russia".
