Dude, you make a lot of great points about saving trees and putting your text books on this thing, etc... but now the government is saying that eBook readers and things like it are actually WORSE than paper. You print a book and you plant a tree. Conversely, if the WHOLE WORLD read books from a screen, ya still have to plug this thing in. That draws on electricity. That pulls from mostly coal power plants. One day we'll have 12 hours of use off of 10 minutes of charge...THAT would help! :D

And ironically, the iPad probably has more use in hospitals than something that looks like a Kindle. Especially since there's a kindle app and it's free. Now... think about this for a second. If you have an Oracle Databasing app, a nurse wouldn't have to push around that annoying laptop cart in the ER anymore. If you get some really good adhesive and a clip, you can make the backside of this thing into a clipboard. BAM! Dual functionality! Put it in the hands of FedEx and UPS, etc!
