Vladimir Horowitz was recognised master in performing of Chopin's mazurkas. Here are two examples: Mazurka in A Minor Op.17 No4 (recorded in the movie "The Last Romantic") and Mazurka in B Minor Op.33 No4 (recorded in Wien,1987).

I think too the use of the inner voice it´s only Horowitz´s possible with his hability too remark certains ineludible notes that gives to the piece an aspect very importat to his tribute, and also of course his virtuosism.

Inner voice= the voicing/texture of the chord is balanced to a certain note giving it it's own distinct melody.
It's the good stuff.

I think it is breath-taking. I like the inner voice thing too. Chopin remarks about this in writing.
