  • As previously noted, 'THE ADVENTURES OF OZZIE & HARRIET" was originally sponsored on alternate weeks by Lambert Pharmacal [Listerine] and General Electric's "Hotpoint" division. This is one of their "extended" ads...and, of course, whenever Harriet Nelson's kitchen was seen during an episode, it usually featured the latest Hotpoint appliances [a subtle way for them to remind viewers of their products throughout the show]. Deep fat fryers in ranges were still a rarity in most homes, back then
