Pairs Carriage driving in Acadia National Park, Mt. Desert Island, Maine. We have taken horses to Acadia for 18 years.

These Arabian-Percheron brothers have been driven as a pair for over 3 years. The black bay first visited Acadia when he was 3 months old! The Park features 57 miles of carriage roads for horses, also used by hikers and bicyclists.

See stories of raising and training these horses on my Horse Blog at http://www.portraitswithhorses.com/blog/ (petArtistWithPeaches)... Natural horse training and backyard horsekeeping, carriage driving, and trail riding FUN!

  • @RainasMa She's so happy when she gets to come along. If not restrained, she jumps back and forth between the 2 back seats constantly, like she's afraid she will miss something!

  • Love Peaches riding "shotgun!"
