    Continued

    Mk 10:34

“They will mock Him and spit on Him, and scourge Him and kill Him, and three days later He will rise again.”

    Mk 14:58

We heard Him say, ‘I will destroy this temple made with hands, and in three days I will build another made without hands.’ ”

    Mk 15:29–30

Those passing by were hurling abuse at Him, wagging their heads, and saying, “Ha! You who are going to destroy the temple and rebuild it in three days, save Yourself, and come down from the cross!”

    Mark 16:6

    He has risen

Why does the Tim keep saying Mark doesn't have any Resurrection? That is Jesus main message in Mark

    Mk 8:31

And He began to teach them that the Son of Man must suffer many things and be rejected by the elders and the chief priests and the scribes, and be killed, and after three days rise again.

    Mk 9:31

For He was teaching His disciples and telling them, “The Son of Man is to be delivered into the hands of men, and they will kill Him; and when He has been killed, He will rise three days later”

But for the sake of argument against terminology... I will concede and state that I believe morality is most definitely subjective.

If morality if determined by society it is subjective. It is up to the subject, in this case, society. If an act is objectivly wrong, it would be wrong whether any one belives it is wrong or not. It would be objectivly wrong. If you are still struggling with this think about something. Since morality depends on society, can society decide that it is okay to say...kill jews? Since it was determined by society, would that not make it moral?

"Second, if morality is purly a socialogical phenomenon then by definition it is not objective." Not true.. there are moral codes which are subjective, and other which truly are objective. It depends on the prespective of society. For example. "Gay Marriage" is subjective, while "Killing for Pleasure" is objective. I did not mean to directly quote anybody, but only highlight the "god did it" phrase, because that is the message behind the unknowns in theology.

At the risk of pointing out the obvious, no one has written "god did it". I do have several things to do right now so I don't have time to go into much. I did just want to point out a few things. First, you have know idea what my position is with regard to the Bible. Second, if morality is purly a socialogical phenomenon then by definition it is not objective. Relax, slow down, open up with in your own assumptions, be willing to be persuaded by reason, act like an adult. You'll do fine.

Appeal to authority... I second that. And the source he deemed most notable is a Roman Catholic Scholar... Not even a historian... a Scholar. not doubting the guy's knowledge in his own specialty... but it's not in history. And the Bible is a story, writtne by more than 40 people, over 1,500 years time and spread out by 2,000 miles. And those particular stories were chosen by a council of 300 men, which was arranged by Roman Emporer Constantine. There is NO REASON to believe the bible is fact

Putdown your Fairy Tale (aka The Bible) and pick up a science journal every now and then... hell just a science magazine from time to time. They regulary report new discoveries and the latest reasearch on all topics. including, the Evolution of Language (by the combined study of recorded human history, differnt languages, brain activity, and genetic evolution), and the evolution to human cooperation, which ultimately leads to a socialogical level of objective morality, and not "god did it"
