@JuLeeSC he definitely did it on purpose cause he looked down at the guitar as he does it. Am I wierd? I totally get the Madonna song, it is about the words. He uses music to communicate with his fans all the time. Never has been a better AI and if we never have a better one at least we have him.

Gah! I had never seen this video of when he touches the AC...sob! I'm so amazed he was able to play this show so soon after his loss. I was at the Race for Hope when he made the announcement...so, so, so, so sad.

David simply amazing me just how strong of a man he is. I was at this concert and he played his heart out the whole night...I didn't see him touch the AC on his gutiar beacause I was on Andys side(front row)! Seeing him touch the gutiar like brought me to tears. David Cook is simply an amzing man with the biggest strongest heart in the whole world!! Love him so much!!

I hadn't noticed that until you pointed it out. It's such a subtle gesture, probably subconcious. Very touching though.
