Not bad, I can prob point out a few issues and bad moves, but that is why we train. Ive been to school with some of these guys and know that they are professionals, put in good hours and I would sure hate to be on the receiving end of one of their hits. Just not a fan of puting your peoples faces on youtube, or giving some jackass attorney ammo to use against ya. Be safe-
But yeah Tursiops right. CQB is a constantly evolving battlefield that you must adjust your tactics to accordingly. Dont just be stuck on one way of doing things. Nothing wrong with high-lows as long as your cohesive with the guy your hitting the corner with. Practice.
Hey Tursiop, I'm curious about something. I'm prior Army Infantry, and I'm thinking about heading on into the academy. Do you guys have a training area in SB that I can visit as a civie so I can observe?
I'm on the SBPD SWAT team, and we have guns high and low when appropriate during deliberate clearing. Bad guys aren't always standing up. We bang rooms were we can safely deliver the device. We always use a cover and peek method. If its a "no bang" room, then we don't bang it. We never bang in the thresh hold, because it doesn't do much good as an audio/visual distraction if it isn't in the room.
And battlemedic...we have been doing this for much longer than 6 years.
Ok there is no sound ... "This video contains an audio track that has not been authorized by WMG. The audio has been disabled" ... why do you use copyrighted songs, dont you know anything about that?
I'm guessing they are going over and under because they feel it is appropriate for deliberate situations. If they were dynamic though, I think their entry procedure would differ. Over-under allows you to stay on the corners and minimizes adrenaline which throws off your aim and decisiveness.
