Props to the video.
I bought the HDR-SR11 last year and I have 3 major problems with it: bad focus while moving the camera faster than you do on your video, too much video noise on "very few" obscure places and the automatic exposure versus the sky is just annoying (I have to adjust it manually each time). Do you have any suggestions for better results?

I have to say that I have not had such problems with my HDSR-11.
In fact it's quite a suprise hearing that.
I rarely use the auto focus as most times the camera adapts to the surroundings perfectly..
Sorry.

great test footage. . . I own the SR11 , but have yet to do an official test for Youtube. I'm more so, wanting to know which format to change my m2ts, files to, to keep quality, while editing, and rendering as 720p for internet streaming. . any word?

Sure:) I use Corel Ulead Studio 11 or higher. It's an excellent program to preserve original quality after an edit.
If no edits are required, then simply upload the raw .mts file. (it will be big obviously)

Cool, i use Corel Video Studio 12 HD . . what format and setting do you render your edited video to? WMV MPEG, and what size? i've been told to save as 720x480 , but the best video i've seen on youtube/video have been saved as 1280x720. .

Nope. If you're using Corel, you should have a setting there to render it to 'MPG OPTIMISER'
Just do all you need to do to the video, then render it with that.
If you want to do it manually, then render it at the best possible quality.
Thats what I do, don't worry about what youtube does with the vid once uploaded, render it at -
Raw .Mt2 File, AVCHD - 1920 x 1080i 25fps, 16:9, Variable Bit Rate (16000kb/s max), Upper Field First.
