  • Great Video!

  • How about a western saddle ?

  • very helpful, thank you

  • Great video!! I

  • Once, just once, I'd like to see people NOT adding in their own silly crap to what otherwise is good advice. The mane stuff is baloney -many horses have their manes "trained" as youngsters to one side or the other, and this will last a lifetime unless the mane is roached. Horses do get one-sided, but you address this through a conditioning program, not saddle fit. Otherwise, the advice is fairly good - many people put their saddles too far forward and restrict the horse's motion.

  • SERIOUSLY is a good video ,very good!!!

  • This was so helpful!!! It really made me realize how important it is to have a properly fitted saddle.

  • Great vid! Now where is the 'how to fit your western saddle' we were told about in the very end?! :D

  • Nicely shot video with good explanations however the BS about the Mane is utterly ridiculous to me. I am a a breeder of TB racehorses and sport horses and a 9th generation Saddler, and totally just do NOT agree with the "mane statement"; much too many variables involved in the "mane statement"; though I do agree that horses are "left or right" sided and even more so racehorses are "diagonally balanced". kudos to the Producers; Rice Saddlery, LLC

  • this is sooo helpful and makes a LOT of sense. THANK YOU!
