  • @Wolfgirl2help your joking right? I have seen bits rip horses mouths apart, saddles leave rub soars and crops leave welts. Anything can cause damage if they are used wrong. Not everyone uses these tools harshly so don't go thinking its all bad. Its cool you rescue horses, but those were probably the ones with the bad owners. Another thing with the crop, you think a crop can lift a horses rub cage, collect him and make him go in a slow western pace? I think not.

  • Alll of you people drive me nuts! You have no idea what this horse and rider are like, with or without spur. Spurs should not be used with an INEXPERIENCED RIDER.

you have so much to say about this girl and her horse.... why not put up a video of yourself and show us how to do it if you are all such good riders. If not then dont talk.

  • I love your videos! People are hating because they just like horses and they don't actually ride western!! If they rode horses they would understand what you were doing. This gave me great tips!

  • this video is horrible :( why were you pulling on the reins in the begining when he wasnt even moving!?!?!?!? POOR HORSEY!:C

  • LanaesRabbitry she might need the spurs because the horse might be a spur stop horse which means if you leave the spur in the horses side it will stop

  • Okay, did anyone see that lady pulling on the reins at the beginning? The reins that connected to a Tom Thumb bit? That just gave me the shivers...that poor horse's jaw :(

  • Guys I use spurs on horses that don't respond well. It doesn't hurt because I use them RIGHT. I barely even poke them I just lighty turn my heels in and it lightly touches the horse. They respond to it more. You guys drive me nuts and are sooo annoying. If you don't like them, don't use them. Everyone has a right to what they use when riding and you are just going to have to except other people's methods.

  • Whoo, that's a lot of tail-swishing.

  • @EveryonesQT A bit and saddle don't leave scars or cuts. I rescue horses and many of them have missing fur patches because of spurs. A riding crop is just as effective without the possibility of injuring your animal.

  • @Wolfgirl2help they are a tool used to aid your ques. same as a bit, saddle, anything you use on a horse. You think everyone should ride with nothing at all? Can't do that in the show pen, sorry.
