Wicked's Child of Nephilem Contest
Round III - Beta Round
Against: TheOnlyDoylie
Story --
Chris never can tell where he is anymore, and never knows when he'll be on solid ground, and when he'll be stuck in the hell behind his eyelids. They diagnosed him with Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder, but he just calls it justice. Because after all, what right does he have to normalcy when he couldn't save any of the lives in Kijuju? Terasave activists like his sister were busy looking for a cure, and what was he doing?
--blowing off their heads, inching closer to his goal, to his lost partner, and to the man responsible--
Men trapped in their own meat suits. Except him, Wesker. His once-upon-a-time Captain. The man he couldnt convince to come back to reason. The man he lost that day in the Arklay mountains. The Captain he left behind in his bitterness, and lost to a monster that he killed in Kijuju.
He finds himself face first in the bath tub, bubbles tickling the nostrils of his nose as they flutter to the surface. He hears something--footsteps--and wonder if its Sheva with another assignment. If she finds him like this, she might think things have gotten worse. Might ask him to stay behindbut he can't muster the strength to lift his head.
So someone else does it for him. Fingers around the back of his neck tug harshly, pull him gasping to the surface. Water flings in a clear arc, and his blue eyes snap wide.
Wesker.
And then he is sentenced back to the hell behind his eyelids, where that thing waits for him. Stalks him with a long grinding sword, and waits until he can't fight anymore. Waits to condemn him permanently. Waits to make him a monster, too.
But he never does become that monster. Just wakes with bloody fingertips, and a fear he can't forget.
Details on the story ---
Pyrmaid Head (for those of you who don't play SH) is the executioner of Silent Hill. He judges who is guilty, and kills the wicked. He is also a psychological illusion based off of a human's need for repetence after doing some horrible thing or another. A good example of how he judges the wicked from the innocent would be in Silent Hill Homecoming, but I won't go into details. Wesker is also a psychological illusion...or is he? -waggles eyebrows-
This is basically how I wish the Viral Campaign commercials had gone. Instead of having Chris wimper about fear and bad experiences (as if Kijuju was the first or the worst) he should have been guilty over the men and women he killed, and how Wesker's betrayal still stung. How terrifing the idea of an unkillable Wesker is. You know? Its just hard to believe Chris would sit in a bath, haunted by the fear from Kijuju after beening trained to handle it, as compared to the rational fear he had the first time he ever experienced such an event without any prior knowledge. Shannagins all around.
---Editor's Note---
UGH the rendering glitched in a few of the masked scenes and color changes which is ANNOYING...-fumes-
Anyways,
This round, against all random odds, I was placed...
...against TheOnlyDoylie...who happens to be my roomie. Do you know how ODD THIS WAS?
Doylie: I have no idea what to do....
Me: Ditto, dude.
And we would throw ideas to eachother. And its not like we didn't do this for things like SYTYCV when we were "against" eachother, but this time it was literally a head to head contest. Which is really weird, 'cause Doylie taught me how to edit... Well, I mean she taught me how to use Vegas. The style I developed slowly enough on my own, I'd like to think. (Doylie is not quite this demented -points to Resident Evil and Silent Hill video)
We were discussing how we would each edit the same song. So weird.
So yea, at one point I was like:
"Doylie, watch this for me, tell me what you think?"
Doylie: Dude, awesome! ...wait, why am I helping you? We're battling eachother this round.
Spazzy: -blinks- ...uh...dunno?
Anyways, its been an experience to say the least. Not to mention that I HATE DOING BETAS!!! I suck at short videos so baaaaaddddd....but this was enjoyble. Blah, I'm blattering.
Doylie is gonna kick my butt. -nods- Wait til you guys see what she has cooked up! XD
I most certainly can't wait until she finishes.
So, yea...^-^; I'm kinda doomed. But its FUN DOOM! XD Gawd, I'm so weird -slinks off-

YES. An interpretation on those sketchy trailers at long last! Not sure if Pyramid Head was a viable option (he's just SO closely interlinked with Silent Hill that's it's ahrd to imagine him in this scenario) but I loved the haunted memories that Wesker inflicted. I mean, Chris worked himself up for the final showdown only for Wesker to MOCK him?
I would love a future Resident Evil game with more psychological undertones. This video prove that :)

Sorry you weren't too thrilled about pyramid head's appearance, but I've been dying to work with his footage for forever now. XD So hopefully you don't mind too much. Glad you liked it despite the craziness of the crossover! <3
