one day - Genesis

The music on From Genesis To Revelation sounds very little like what Genesis would produce even two years later. When this album was recorded in 1968, the ages of the band members ranged from 16 to 18, and none of them considered themselves proficient musicians as they had hardly any studio experience.

IT is a gem . I have loved their first LP ever since I heard it for the first time . The songs have a feeling about them that is true to the original vision they had........Overproduced but it's all there.....

@kamwrites  Agreed. I just picked up the Orange collection (or whatever it's called) today and thought the same thing. Beautiful writing. Very sweet, very influenced by what was happening around them, musically, at the time, yet, so *good*, with clear differences, because, now, in retrospect, I know what's going to come.
