  • I cant find Sandlake on the Map I have could you please tell me some other lakes this near?

  • @kirokyukan

It's about a 10KM hike from Achray Campground, the Eastern Pines backpacking trail takes you there. Or you can go by Canoe.

  • @kirokyukan

Sandlake is actually the name of the most eastern gate in Algonquin Park.

  • We're heading there on Tuesday August 23rd - staying on Stratton Lake. I've been to the High Falls a couple years ago - was so much fun!! Thanks for the vid!

  • High Falls is here: 45.859003,-77.691388 . We set in at Achray, then canoe across Grand Lake, portage into Stratton, then padde until we get to the north end of Stratton Lake. This is a nice place to spend an afternoon if you're camping on Stratton. You can rent a canoe at Algonquin Portage on the way into the park.

  • @MulderS00 Thanks.
