So - During another night of experimenting with free online games I encounter a title called Dead Frontier - A Zombie Apocolyptic MMORPG which blends web based interface (Character / Inventory etc) alongside a Single Player & Multiplayer Top-Down Zombie killing game where you can go it alone or team up with other players to explore the surrounding infected city, looting and plundering stores, buildings or even dead bodies while surviving an ever growing zombie onslaught while you try to complete missions or purely go on killing spree's.
The game comes across like the bastard child of Alien Breed gameplay vs a Resident Evil theme - I'm currently a level 8 Police(wo)man bashing zombies upside the head with a Baseball bat, saving Pistol and Shotgun ammo for the bigger meanies or zombie zergs you encounter deeper in the city.
I'm not sure of the mechanics but it'd seem that the longer you stay out in the city or the more noise you make (while killing) the more Zombies start getting attracted to your location - This isn't pleasant when you're in the middle of looting or plundering a nearby store, warehouse or office building as the number of zombies start increasing and they have no problem boxing you in, which makes it tough and tense when in enclosed locations and/or health/ammo is running low.
So far it's proving to be a fun little game though certain aspects of it are excrutiatingly annoying, such as the web based menu system which forces the game to reload anytime you want to discard an item or use food/health items.
In addition you cannot store items anywhere so if you're low on inventory space things get aggravating - Heck, if you have full inventory and find an awesome item, you have to reload the game to make space - Due to the nature of the game vs the web aspect of the inventory/character, this means you won't return to the same waiting loot thus items you found before reloading can (and most likely will) vanish or be replaced by lesser items.
Other than that, even in single player, this is basic fun with an MMORPG element thrown in and I can't wait to find some friendly people to tag along with in a multiplayer zombie crushing game sometime. It even has PvP!
More to come.

Then there is a problem with your computer, not the game. It takes no time to load.
