The number of the column can be calculate by columns function The final ranking can be calculated by the row function.
In order to avoid duplicated ranking we can add to the ranking number ( 1,2,3, etc.
a small number base on the line number divided by large number.

Thanks! This was very helpful. I just learned what the Vlookup function does yesterday and learned about the Rank function today. My end-goal was automatic sorting.
