@xxdj0kxx Why do you bother saying all this. What is special about rugby union are the traditions: that you clap your opposition off the field, that you always shake their hand - and you buy them a beer after the game (although the professionals don't do a lot of buying). And that's why big rugby matches are such a joy to attend. Rugby's a violent sport and there's true camaraderie amongst all players.

I've played Rugby and American Football....if you're on the field a lot...they'll both make ya a bit sore.

When it is flesh vs flesh...the hits aren't as hard but they hurt...ummm...because it's flesh-n-bone on flesh-n-bone.

When you wrap a body in hard plastic and crash it into another body in similar gear....

A) plastic has no give and the hit is more bone-jarring.

B) more players will go full-speed at one another because of the protection offered.

Both are rough sports both are fun to play!
