This song obviously meant something special to Murs, and he felt that he needed to cover it. I'm sure Common encouraged this, and there's enough personal spin on it for it not to be considered an exact copy. Murs wouldn't claim to have written this song or even own it, so don't act like he would.

Why's everyone going crazy? It's a cover song.....very rare in this genre, usually heads sample shit, but cover songs exist, and in this case this was wasn't bad. Get over it.
