All my life I'd loved the Nancy Sinatra version and then this week stumbled upon this magical hypnotic version - it takes me straight back to a cinema as a wide-eyed boy in the 60s, a time of great happiness - have to be honest and say that it makes my heart melt like no other piece of music - must be the superb arrangement of the violins, I don't know. JB - what a brilliant man. Thank you SBB from an old Bond fan.

Can anyone tell me exactly which performance this is of the theme? OMG, how beautiful! He was the master of sensuality in film music, knew just where to touch the heart and soul of the listener in ways never known of before. Never vulgar....just deep and beautiful. I very much would like to have this particular performance of this theme. Can anyone help?

@5809AUJG This is from the 1999 CD Columbia 4945-7 2 ''The Music Of John Barry'. Alas, no extra information provided in the sleeve booklet other than suggesting the CD is re-release on a 1976 LP.
