  • This is brilliant Phil. Fantastic capture of the Song Thrush singing...so sad that their numbers are in such a steep decline.

  • That little bird sings a good song... I like the variations :)

  • My first video of the day and undoubtedly the best

  • Sweet singing fellow...reminds me of an American Robin.

  • Oh dear Phil..What a great singer this Song Thrush...If we can understand what he sings how wonderful it would be..

From where did you capture this singer .... I noticed that he can make many different sounds..

It is magical how nature does wonders..

You are amazing like your videos...

  • We've had regular Thrush and Blackbird visits to our garden during the summer and they've kept the snail population in check better than any chemical pesticide. We put out a large flat stone as an anvil and it seemed to attract these birds. Early last year we also had a visit from a Fieldfare which is a slightly larger relative of the Thrush. I videoed it and put it on my channel.

  • Nice video and sound. Takes me right back to a warm summer's evening.

There's a Thrush which sings in all weather every evening just round from our house.

  • He is brilliant! Yikes on red status! Such a vicious cycle to be piling on pesticides, when the birds could do the job just as well, as they did in the past.

Thanks for this, Phil. Without your vids, I would never have the chance to know many of these birds from your corner of the world. :-)

  • Sorry to hear that this beautiful little bird is on the endangered list...

Why does the world not see that we need them & all our creatures for balance?

Thank you Phil for helping to spread the beauty AND the word.

  • Tweet,Tweet...Thanks Phil. I hope the little beauty starts to thrive. We need all of our creatures.

    Peace,

    Netty
