From where did you capture this singer .... I noticed that he can make many different sounds..

We've had regular Thrush and Blackbird visits to our garden during the summer and they've kept the snail population in check better than any chemical pesticide. We put out a large flat stone as an anvil and it seemed to attract these birds. Early last year we also had a visit from a Fieldfare which is a slightly larger relative of the Thrush. I videoed it and put it on my channel.

There's a Thrush which sings in all weather every evening just round from our house.

He is brilliant! Yikes on red status! Such a vicious cycle to be piling on pesticides, when the birds could do the job just as well, as they did in the past.
Thanks for this, Phil. Without your vids, I would never have the chance to know many of these birds from your corner of the world. :-)

It's called a 'zanglijster' in Holland... Beautiful Phil ! And what a great songs eh ? I really didn't know it was on the 'red alert list'... Pfffffff... To bad for such a fantastic bird...
