That is common I think. I believe what happened is the pilot flared to early, and started floating down the runway, so he then pushed the nose down. I would say that was a average landing.

Perfect landing: The wheels barely touch the runway intally, and you cannot feel a thing.

Good landing: Your common landing where you desend and hit the runway. Passagers can feel it, and notice the hit.

Okay, average. noticable hit, just like in this video

Bad. Really bad thump.

THAT was a hard landing? Try flying in an A380 sometime. Stall? Naah, there would be all sorts of violent shuddering and rolling back and forth. Pilot just got sick of flaring and plopped it stick forward/back. Like an old fashioned 727 landing.

But I read this statement and it was quite funny, but still there is something real in it.

Until no one is harmed, the landing is succesful.

@Remunigerin A good landing is smooth and gental and Perfect landing is touching down but not (or Barely) feeling anything. If you get off the plane with injuries then its called a Crash! :D (minor crash to major crash)

A good landing is a landing after which you can still go out of the plane with your legs.

A perfect landing is a landing after which you can still go out of the plane with your legs and you can still fly the plane.

That seemed to be a perfect landing.

Pilote flared slightly too much, the plane maintained his altitude than stalled : the plane was close to the ground so the stall was gentle
