The Easter swell was in, Dave Blount & Irish surf champion John McCarthy decided to take on the might of Aileen's at the Cliffs of Moher, while shooting footage for their new film. Filmed on 14.04.09 by Jamie Tanner. Apologies for the spelling mistake Dave! And the credits don't match the images, they are just supposed to be nice to look at. Give me a break, it was my first Youtube video. (And i couldn't care less if you don't like the music: hit mute. The Eagles of Death Metal rule!!)

Why not hit mute if you don't like my tunes? What do you want? The Beach Boys? I surf. I listen to the Eagles of Death Metal. I also listen to Tony Bennett but I though Eagles of Death Metal might go better with heart stopping action than 'I Left My Heart in San Francisco'. Each to their own Mr Bennet.

Nice wave...but why do pussies need jetskis to ride it??? I was paddling into waves that size when I was 15. Don't call it a "bigwave" surfing until it gets over 25 feet. Towins turning surfing into a rich mans faggot freak show.

@DieOregonSurfPage Yeah, what that guy says! Cos the wave is at the foot of some of the tallest cliffs in Europe and would take several hours to paddle out to? that a good enough reason? See the cliffs in the photo at the very start of the video? Those are the Cliffs of Moher. Check 'em out sometime. They are quite tall, being cliffs.

I paddled into stuff that size...back in da day..back in my yoot,back in Eire.

@blueboywhitie not doubting you brother but I doubt you paddled into that particular wave when you were young, wha? not unless you leapt off the cliffs of moher with your board under your arm. Jus' sayin'. And they didn't have music out on the water either ol' timer, I added that in after. Fantastic inventions, these computers.
