All I can say is that it was an epic fight and it was well worth the trouble of putting 3+ hours into accomplishing the first PW kill on our server.

Oh yeah and I'm a huge fan of Motoi Sakuraba and I'd like to thank blip from the Windower forums for making a music pack that changes the whole game completely

The description says this took 3 hours. Now is this 3 hours from the start of the first vid till the end of the third vid or is it 3 hours with multiple attempts and failures in between? I ask out of ignorance cause its been years since I played FFXI and I never did get involved in end game. The video has lots of edits and cuts which is why I am asking.

@EspyMelly Your talking about the Japanese who create games like MUSHIHIMESAMA that requires you to use pure muscle memory to dodge a freakin wall of bullets in 50 or so different patterns.

AND was an arcade game so if you died you payed money to continue. Their masachoist idea of fun and entertainment is a bit heartless at times which is why I think dispite their creative intellect and imagination, they are , I feel, behind in modern ideals of what is actually, trully fun and engaging.

I'd heard about this boss before, and I honestly felt it hard to believe that paid game designers would put a boss fight that lasted several hours in any game. I guess I've been proven wrong.

I honestly find it hard to understand how anyone could find this enjoyable. Several hours of intensely repetitive combat. In the time it takes to kill this boss with so many people you could have easily played half of a whole other game and had a much more varied experience.

Absolutely baffling.
