Top 10 Megadeth Solos.

This is my top ten Megadeth solos. ¡NOT SONGS! I don´t expect everyone to agree, but it´s a spent a lot of time listening to the whole dsicography till 2002 to chose my really favourite solos. Hope you like it!

im new to megadeth, i suppose i am a noob:(.can anyone advice me on what albums to check out? pls

Definetely start with Rust in Peace. Then probably Youthanasia or Coutdown and then back to the old Killing is may Business, Peace Sells and So Far. I´m not too kind with the last albums but read And The Fugitive Mind really sounds like old times.

I'll have to agree with the Lucrieta one. I would of put the one from Burnt Ice and the very last solo in Five Magics and the last one from In My Darkest Hour.

But yeah, I do understand that it's hard to select a personal top ten. And obviously they would vary depending on your favorite style as well. But good overall selection.

I hope that this video makes other users to post their favourites, that was the whole point, to piss you off when you don´t see your favourite one there and force you to post yours (whose I´d love to see). ;)

I love My darkest hour. It was one of the options, but I listened to all af them and that one didn´t make it sorry. :)

family tree is amazing. I would however change one of those for dread and fugitive mind(al pitrelli). good list got alot of the really good ones

You are one of the very few fans sharing with me the opinion that Family Tree solo is one of Marty's best... Not No.1 for me anyway.. Tornado's is my No.1...

The strange fact is that Marty himself believes that Family Tree song and solo is one of the least he likes !!!!!!

if you like some of the solos of the first two albums (killing and peace) you should check Chris Poland´s "Return for Metalopolis", a very heavy purely instrumental metal album of the early nineties. Poland has a very distinctive style.
