Moreover, auto manufacturers aren't in business to provide people with jobs, they're in business to provide their customers with decent cars at an affordable price and to make a profit for their stockholders. I don't give a damn how much money a CEO makes just as long as he does the job he's paid to do. If he's a screw-up, can his ass and move on. As for the unions, to hell with them. Let the workers earn what the market dictates, not what some corrupt union hack thinks they should.

Every member of the big 3's upper management needs to go, and the auto workers union should be shut down. Everyone involved is making too much money, and nobody wants to take the cuts necessary to make these companies competitive.

no they will take the bail out money and still lay off a butt load of people. But it wil be ok for the uaw they can just raise the dues on the workers who are left. and thats what this is all about we gotta save the uaw.
