Progressive Libertarian? That sounds great!
I'd like to see Ventura, both Pauls, and Kucinich be given big sticks to beat the hell out of Congress with.

My friend dont generalize. Jesse Ventura is a smart guy. He was the Govenor of Minnesota. Give him some credit. He's one of the few politicians (him and Ron Paul) that seems very honest...Listen to his words and his vibe. He's a real down guy...

Older People like myself are starting to be blamed for our short comings. The next couple of generations will point fingers of blame on past generations(especially the baby boomers). Sad history we are living. This can all come out differently if we scrap the current political system (empty the White House) start over from scratch, keeping the Constitution in tact of corse. To all the parents with kids...watch closley what those "teachers" are teaching your children. I see a big revolution too!

With all due respect, Jesse Ventura???. Wasn't he a wrestler. I know he was in the movie Predator. Arnold Swartzenagger??? Come on people. Not to say the slippery folks in Capital Hill are getting it done, either. But let's be realistic! How about somebody that actually has leadership & and ability. Seems like most reps are cartoonish charachters. Barney Frank, Pelosi..how are these goofballs getting elected to run our country? Is integrity really that hard to find there in Washington?????

Well if you listen and learn you will realize, that is if your brain lets you, that fascsim leads to corruption. Control of the conomy by a handful is the culprit. Capitalism is about every one being free to be involved and yes it does require regulation so that it doesnt morph into facsim and communism. So you are wrong and Celente is right.

I hear ya. Ron Paul would be excellent, or his son Rand. And I like Jesse Ventura too. Then there's that new kid on the block, Adam Kokesh.
Alaskans are independent thinkers, and tend not to give a damn about 'how they do it Outside'. I'm sure that attitude contributes a lot to her demeanor. I lived many years in Alaska, and despite that, her gaffes embarrased me. She also quit her job as governor; whatever the reason I don't think that is excusable.

Ugh : ( I rather have someone like Ventura or Ron Paul than her. The fact that she may have been involved in censoring what books a library could carry disturbed me. And her infamous "I can see Russia where I live" response doesn't inspire confidence either.

You know, I don't think letters do a damn bit of good anymore. These elitists just don't give a damn what we think.

Michael Moore did mention Wall Street causing this financial crisis. The Wall Street corporations being responsible, like Goldman Sachs, Citibank, Merrill Lynch, and others. Wall Street greed and outsourcing of American jobs to maximize the stock holders profits. A Democratic house and senate passing the $700 billion banker bailout. He stated both parties being in the pockets of Wall Street financiers. Capitalism isn't the problem, the problem is corporate capitalism. Corporatism=Fascism.
