I'm sure that many of you have made knives that are far more refined than this one, but for somebody that would like to get started this is a great project and the end result is quite satisfying!

"Uluaq" not many white people can say it in our native language and this knife is mainly used by Eskimo's in northern Canada, all over Alaska... you'd be surprised how fast Alaskan Native women can cut up fish with an uluaq.

Don't you just love being stranded in the woods and finding an angle grinder and a drill and pins? Ray Mears and Bear Grylls seem to have it pretty easy!

Looks like a cool design and pretty easy to do as a first shot at knife making. I think you should have done the vid with the patch on, totally badass. Good to hear your vision is still good.
