Cursing is a sin, but cussing isn't. Cuss words are made up by man. They are nothing more than a combination of letters in the alphabet. It's how you use those words that determine if it is bad or not. Did you know that "Dang it" was once considered a cuss word? How many of you all have said that?

what he is trying to get at is god hates cursing, stop letting sinners influence you, be pure and in christ and not bad in satan, and also stop saying words that harm others because words are powerful.
