I actually agree; apart from the first two records, Deliverance is arguably my least favourite Opeth album. The thing is though, it's still fucking superb, and has better collective material than most bands manage in their careers. For this reason, Opeth are quite possibly my favourite band of all time

what the fuck, Deliverance is amazing, literally from start to finish. it's just as well written as Still Life, Blackwater Park, and pretty much anything else they've put out.

my favourite is ghost reveries, or maybe blackwater park, closely followed by still life and damnation
