The great Mali desert band Tinariwen was one of the highlights of Live 8, the African concert hosted by Peter Gabriel and WOMAD. A major influence on Robert Plant's recent music, Tinariwen are touring in fall 2007 and will be at the Grand Opera House in Wilmington on November 18, 2007 at 7 PM, co-sponsored by the Arden Concert Gild.

@Ron42874 This is not Arabic...the Tuaregs don't speak Arabic but rather Tamasheq which is related to Berber with its own script etc.

Why some people are fighting about their origin or their land ? We are all brothers and sisters ...we are made of clay and water how can we own the land that we were made of ?
