when i'm in a dungeon, it gets very laggy. my fps drains down to 8 :(

No, it just tells the game that u don't have a xbox360 controller.

After 30 hrs of game play with 25-30 fps, I had a theory. lol

I backed up my saves and then uninstalled everything, including mods.

Reinstalled the base game (no patches) set settings to high. 25-28 fps in the beginning scene. Patched the game to the latest update (1.4 something), still 25-28 fps. Reinstalled all of my mods (heavy texture mods), still 25-30 fps. Switched to low, still 25-28 fps. so I went on and switched to ultra, dropped down to 8fps.
