Rose Circles ~Women's Upliftment Project~

Documentary film with a look into tribal India as Anne Godfrey and the Rose Circles team implement the training of 'Adivasi' women, below the poverty line. Rose Circles is a project with a mission to economically uplift women in rural and marginalized areas around the world, and beginning with India.

Rose Circles provides training, networking, raw materials, and marketing for groups of economically challenged women. Some of the women are homeless, suffering from AIDS, and newly widowed. The aim is to create economic stability, and employment that provides safe, sustainable, and community minded work places for underprivileged women. Right now the project is successfully employing over 200 women and is growing rapidly. RC is being requested to assist hundreds more women nationally, as well as, request have been made for projects to be initiated in Cambodia and Africa. Rose Circles Trust cannot expand fast enough with the current resources.
