Here is a cover of (I Would Walk) Five Hundred Miles (500 Miles) by 'The Proclaimers' Craig & Charlie Ried .
It's not a song I would usually cover, it started out as a bit of fun, but it turned into quite a project.
After a request from sloveniadude1, here are the chords:
E, A, B repeated through the whole song, except in the middle, where the song pauses there is a C#m. Or, for those of you who don't like or aren't familiar with bar chords you can play it in a higher key and use G, C, & D repeated and then an Em in the middle. That is it.
Any questions let me know.
When I wake up, well I know I'm gonna be,
I'm gonna be the man who wakes up next to you.
When I go out, yeah I know I'm gonna be,
I'm gonna be the man who goes along with you.
If I get drunk, well I know I'm gonna be,
I'm gonna be the man who gets drunk next to you.
And if I haver, yeah I know I'm gonna be,
I'm gonna be the man who's havering to you.
But I would walk 500 miles
And I would walk 500 more
Just to be the man who walked 1,000 miles
To fall down at your door
When I'm walkin, yes I know I'm gonna be,
I'm gonna be the man who's walkin hard for you.
And when the money, comes in for the work I do,
I'll pass almost every penny on to you.
When I come home, (when i come home) oh I know I'm gonna be,
I'm gonna be the man who comes back home to you.
And if I grow old, well I know I'm gonna be,
I'm gonna be the man who's growing old with you.
But I would walk 500 miles
And I would walk 500 more
Just to be the man who walkes 1,000 miles
To fall down at your door
na na na, na na na
na na na, na na na
lika lika lika lika lika la, la, la
na na na, na na na
na na na, na na na
lika lika lika lika lika la, la, la
When I'm lonely, well I know I'm gonna be,
I'm gonna be the man whose lonely without you.
And when I'm dreaming, well I know I'm gonna dream,
I'm gonna dream about the time when I'm with you.
When I go out, (when i go out) well I know I'm gonna be,
I'm gonna be the man who goes along with you.
and when I come home, (when i come home) yes I know I'm gonna be,
I'm gonna be the man who comes back home with you,
I'm gonna be the man whose comin' home with you.
But I would walk 500 miles
And I would walk 500 more
Just to be the man who walked 1,000 miles
To fall down at your door
na na na, na na na
na na na, na na na
lika lika lika lika lika la, la, la
na na na, na na na
na na na, na na na
lika lika lika lika lika la, la, la
na na na, na na na
na na na, na na na
lika lika lika lika lika la, la, la
na na na, na na na
na na na, na na na
lika lika lika lika lika la, la, la
But I would walk 500 miles
And I would walk 500 more
Just to be the man who walked 1,000 miles
To fall down at your do-o-or

@wph00 Thanks, I'm glad you liked it. I used windows movie maker and two (or maybe three, I don't remember) audio tracks mixed using Audacity. Then I put them all together and that's what you see!
