  • Great tips Kelly! I am not very patient at all. I have thick coarse hair with a lot of wave (in the back only...why?!?!). I think I will try again, definitely using sections, and sitting down! I'm glad you mentioned cowlicks at the hairline; my usual routine is a wet set, but I definitely dry the bangs to manage cowlicks and the top section for a little volume.

So glad you're doing this series!

  • @floordior33 Thanks for the feedback Kathryn. I know it can be so frustrating and time consuming to get all of the wave out of your hair. I also highly recommend getting a HUGE and I mean HUGE boar bristle round brush. I find that I can cut the time in half for a great blow dry for my clients with really curly hair. I will post a pic on FACE BOOK so you can see what I mean. What else would you like to see me feature in the series?

  • @KellyVanGogh I loved seeing you cut bangs (they look great BTW). Wet sets, "beachy" hair, that braid trend...I can't seem to make it look right.

I saw the brush on Facebook--thank you so much! I will definitely try it.
