I want the sonics back so bad right now...
-
luke came to omak wa. back in the day when he was in high school. he ripped up omak with a broken right hand. this white boy can ball with the best of them. and all yall talkin shit about luke haha, yall didnt make it to the nba so whut the fuck up fools.
-
@SmoothMM Yeah you're right they want to keep Luke there to groom RR they'll split the minutes for now but next year, year after that it's def RR's job...
-
@mookeychase0907 Yeah, he could start on most teams (if not all). He's played well for the Bucks and is currently doing a good job in Minnesota., but look out for Ricky Rubio to possibly take over: dude's the real deal.
-
@SmoothMM Yep coming into the league Luke averaged at least 10 & 5 except one year he averaged like 11 & 3.8 but that is good for a young point guard, dont know what he did when he left Seattle. He's fundamentally sound can score and he could play for most coaches I guarantee.
-
@NoRegretsForOurYouth The dude has the capability of scoring 20+ on any given night, but chooses to play safe and distribute to his teammates plus he's never been a primary scoring option (look at teams he's been on). Turnover to assist ratio is good for his career: 1.74 turnovers to 4.9 assists. And the video wasn't saying he's a "savior" or anything. Many spectators like to compare a person's play style to other players. The video shows that he can play.
-
Think that was a fluke game. He's only scored over 25 points on four separate occasions, never averaged over 12 points for a season, last season was his highest with 11.8. He's nobody's future, especially not the Sonics.......too soon?
I hate it when these "savior, next big thing, the future" videos don't work out.
-
he had talent if they never broke up the sonics and kept luke, ray, and rashard they would have ben ok

Definately!

This looks like a mix of a lot of lucky shots going in. I'm sure he misses those more often than not.
bonafide28 3 years ago
a floater is not a lucky shot, one of the most technically difficult shots in basketball and requires alot of skill. He has a pretty good floater, not saying he makes all but it ain't luck...

A lot of the time it seemed like he just tossed the ball up tp the rim without even fully extending his arm. That's not a technically sound shot.
bonafide28 3 years ago
True, but that's what a floater is, not technically sound, but takes alot of skills... Tony Parker also used to use that alot.
