@SlavaP93 Poland NEVER worked with the Nazis. We were the most resistant. The Armia Krajowa was the most organized and active resistance. And you know how some nations, like Slovakia or France had collaborator governments? Poland never had one. Actually, we never surrendered. To quote the founder of the modern Polish State, Jozef Pilsudski:"To gain victory and rest on one's laurels is defeat. To be defeated and never stop fighting is true victory."

Im portuguese but i like the polish because they suffer long time to germany ocupatin but stil whene the german dominat poland they continue to figth for freedom and is a privilege that my coutry dont have but that will end some day some time but will end and will change for better so go poland and polish people be happy and free!!!!!!!!!!!!!

At the time Warsaw had one of the largest concentrations of Jews in the world. I feel like the resistance that Poland demonstrated was in no small part due to that, by 1944, they had realized that indescribably evil genocide of the city's own people was a reality of fascism.
