This song rocks totally!

@crazyromanian1 Southern Europeans are the true Latins. The word "Latino" has evolved in the present day to mean people from Latin America, but these people are actually Mestizos. The true Latins are Italians, Greeks, Spaniards...and even Romanians among others! So if you are Romanian, there was probably a time when you weren't considered white.
-
@strictlycomments What were they considered then?
-
......forgot to mention the guitar and drums! Awesome!
-
I was 11 or 12 when this song came out! Sounds so good to hear the original again! It brings me back and makes me feel good! Brings a slight tear to my eyes.....the last 45 seconds, they really blow it up! Such beautiful vocals!
-
Love this song, but still amazed at how much distortion there is. Sounds like a pretty fresh
copy, that distortion is on the tracks.
-
@mrmartin8899 It figures. Those so-called "whites" are either jealous, or wishing they were Italians ...
-
@strictlycomments You are right!
-
@strictlycomments by most whites
-
@mrmartin8899 Not considered white by who, Mr Martin?
-
@strictlycomments they are still not considered white
-
@54nomore Did you know that there was a time - not so long ago - when Italians like, Frankie Valli, were not considered "whites"?
-
@MrFrankygoestoboston True that. I'm sick of Mexicans calling themselves "Latin".
-

@Mr Frankie goes to boston I admit that the ancient Italians of Rome where the language spoken and written was Latin. The spread of Roman culture through out their empire which included Spain passed along their language and thus Latin and Spanish became part of what is known today as Romance languages. We who call ourselves Hispanic because of this fact of language incorporation, also call ourselves Latinos because of it.
-
@Mr Frankie goes to boston I admit the Italians of Ancient Rome wrote, read and spoke the true Latin language. As they were spreading their culture and conquering Europe and Spain in particular. The Spanish language was incorporated into the Latin language of Rome and thus Spanish became part of the Romance...(Rome) languages of the world.
And we who call ourselves Hispanic, also refer to ourselves as Latinos because of the influence of Rome and the impact they had on Spain.
-
@54nomore Italians are the real latinos. You are a mestizo.
-
Great song! Thanks....
-
@grammarita1 Thanks it is a good memory.

cantankerous bulgarians
This was the first white group that Latinos like me, and African Americans listen to the most back in the early 60's & 70's. They sang R&B/ Soul music w/Frankie's high falsetto voice and brilliant harmonizing by the Four Seasons. They were just great!

I can remember back in 1971 as a junior in high school I was dating a girl named Marianne. I will always remember this song... for it truly was a great time to be young and in love.
