Little Big Town- Boondocks....Better than the crappy live versions where you cant hear the singing...
Download link: http://tinyurl.com/2v38ty4

(Chorus:)
I feel no shame
I'm proud of where I came from
I was born and raised in the boondocks
One thing I know
No matter where I go
I keep my heart and soul in the boondocks

And I can feel
That muddy water running through my veins
And I can hear that lullaby of a midnight train
It sings to me and it sounds familiar

(Chorus)

And I can taste
That honeysuckle and it's still so sweet
When it grows wild
On the banks down at old camp creek
Yeah, and it calls to me like a warm wind blowing

(Chorus)

It's where I learned about living
It's where I learned about love
It's where I learned about working hard
And having a little was just enough

It's where I learned about Jesus
And knowing where I stand
You can take it or leave it, this is me
This is who I am

Give me a tin roof
A front porch and a gravel road
And that's home to me
It feels like home to me

(Chorus)

I keep my heart and soul in the boondocks

You get a line, I'll get a pole
We'll go fishing in the crawfish hole
Five-card poker on a Saturday night
Church on Sunday morning

(2x)
You get a line, I'll get a pole
We'll go fishing in the crawfish hole
(Down in the boondocks)
Five-card poker on a Saturday night
Church on Sunday morning

Say a little prayer for me

    hellyes.

@nerfgodfathers why don't you back off. kay?!. us country folk may not be the best in school but we do know how to work together and kick some city slickers ass.

  • I may be a city boy but damn I love this song. I lived in South Carolina for a while and I enjoyed the big spaces and the quietness of it all.

  • Great Song!!!! Amazing! <3

  • <3

I listen to this song all the time and think of how proud I am from where I'm from!

  • This song is so catchy I just love!

  • South west Louisiana btw

  • Man this song reminds me of when i was a kid so much, we used to have crawfish boils and me and my cousins would dig for crawl fish in the front yard (not to eat, we bought those, but we'd throw the ones we dug up in the pot too) and on saturdays my family would, I shit you not, play five card stud and go to church the next morning, also we had a huge honeysuckle bush on the fence at my elementary school and we'd lick the nectar until the teachers made us stop, its pretty weird how acurate it is

  • I hate country, but I like this song

  • Love this song!!! Grew up in the Country and will stay in the country. Lived in Raleigh NC for 2 years but had to come home so my kids can know what country living is all about!

  • Love them!!! They are awesome and they where the very first country band I ever listened to!
