Mymains Stewart Gilligan goes for the World Record for the Longest Cat. He was measured on August 28, 2010 at the Nevada Humane Society. Stewie's measurement cam in at 48.5 inches from the tip of his nose to the tip of his tail. Stewie is a 5 and a half year old Maine Coon owned by Robin Hendrickson and Erik Brandsness.

And so submissive and cool. Always admired these Maine Coons, but they're expensive.
Wonder how big its paws are. The cat I had a couple of years ago had 4,5" front paws when all toes fully stretched out. No Maine Coon, just a regular house cat.

What a beautiful cat! He's so relaxed and well-behaved. He is obviously loved very much. He's like..."do whatever 'ya want...It seems a bit strange to me, but I trust you...knock yourself out!" (crazy humans!).
My cat recently passed away. That made me smile. Thanks!

I have seen the comment about the cat being drugged and such. Stewie was not drugged to be measured. That would be wrong. Stewie is a very mellow cat that just loves people.
