Fuocco - Libra Sonatine - Roland Dyens

I was really fortunate to be able to help out with the President's Star Charity 2011. This year, we helped raised S$6.44 million. This is the highest-ever amount raised in the annual charity show. I also very please that Classical Guitar was chosen to be represented on National TV... The program consisted of many other artist including 3 Singapore Idol winners and Chris Medina from American Idol.

This was held on 31 Jul 2011. I played Fuoco by Roland Dyens. The backdrop was chosen not becuase I played Fuoco but it was a co-incidence that they chose one fire... I hope you enjoy though I thought it sounded much better live vs the sound captured on TV.

The theme for the fund raiser had red and white as primary colours... thus the Red Jeans... I would have never tried red jeans on my own... :)

Excellent playing! You should learn a bit about sound engineering yourself for gigs like this, because not a lot of sound engineers know how the acoustics of a guitar works. For example, don't put the mic in front of the sound hole. It should be placed fairly close to the "back end" of the guitar, and the placing has a lot to do with what frequencies it picks up.
