Sorry, I'm an illustrator but I agree with Stan. The writer is the creator. George Lucas is the creator of Darth Vader... we don't hear the name of the illustrator who first created him visually. The same goes for Lewis Carroll and Alice, E.E. Milne and Winnie the Pooh and Steven King created Randall Flagg
