Do you brake when you go down hill to keep the scooter from running over the dogs or are the dogs fast enough? Where I live there are a lot of steep hills and I just wanted to know what other mushers did.

Awesome! Im just starting out dog scootering with my siberian husky, just waiting for the summer to pass. In a few years I was thinking of getting a collie, do you think they'd make a good mushing team? XD

I'm working to train my border collie for dog scootering right now. I ordered a custom harness a few weeks ago. It's cool to see that others use border collie's too!

hi stacey, i'm sure huskies and collies mixs well - my boy loves running with huskies - just make sure they are girl/boy team i think :) doobie gives those huskies a run for their money :)
