After introducing the G4 Cube at Macworld New York in 2000, here is the promotional video that was shown. Although praised for its innovative industrial design, the Cube fails to catch on with creative professionals because it's too expensive, not powerful enough and hard to upgrade. The Cube is "put on ice" in July 2001 with Apple promising that it will be "reborn" in another form at a later date. Its widely accepted that the Mac mini computer was its successful replacement.

  • @NitroGadvRules the reason for this is that apple switched from power pc to intel in 2006. Mac OS X 10.5 Leopard was the last Mac os to support the Power pc environment. ITunes on mac requires Mac os 10.6 snow leopard which only runs on intel chips. Microsoft never really made a huge switch like this
