This video has some wonderful footage of Sensei Okamoto. It was a great privilage to be instructed by him at Al-Zohour Club (Japanese Arts Center) in Nasr City, Egypt. His classes and instruction level as was his character; all were exceptional to the very end. His loss is a great loss to all who knew him and knew his kindness and love for Karate. May Allah grant him forgiveness and rest his soul.
My condolences to the Okamoto family,
Hesham H. H. Mohammed

Dear Amina Okamoto,
My condolance for the great loss of Sensei Okamoto. Sensei was a mentor on several occasions and my examiner for Shodan and Nidan. I once gave him a ride home in my car which gave me a wonderful feeling of privilage that he accepted my offer. His instructions during our drive to his home on Heian Sandan were mile stones in my karate performance I remember them to this day. May Allah rest his soul.
My Condolences to Okamoto Family & JKA

Thank you Najmeddin. It is a very beautiful movie. Especially ENBU at Gabon,I've never seen this before. When he played this ENBU at Gabon, his weight was about 53kg because of cancer. My father is the happiest man. Because he had a lot of son. They loved him and missed him so much. And Okamoto loved them. Okamoto refused morphine until his last moment. He tried to live and never gave up. Thank you for remembering Okamoto. Amina Okamoto

The first time we missed you is when you had a car accident back in the 70's, the second time when you left Lebanon during the dirty war.
Thank you Okamoto sensei for your classes from Mondays to Saturdays , and for making possible the first JKA Lebanese Team to participate at the 1973 Tournament in Japan and 1974 tournament in Belgium .
See you in the Afterlife Sensei Okamoto and I will be careful to escape your Ashi Barai.
My condolence to Okamoto Family and the JKA.

i cannot still believe his gone he was like a father to me, it felt as if we knew each other for years even though i met him 2 years ago. everything was a gift from him. the belt i wear know, and the things i came to know because i met him. he wanted me to promise him that i would not live karate, and to do my best. i promise you Sensei and Father i will never live it, . your student and daughter for ever rania i will always keep you in my heart and may your spirit guide my steps for ever.
Our Father has gone, he weigh about 30 kgs when he passed away..doctors said he has such a strong will to live, otherwise he would have passed away months ago and not survive.considering, he didnt eat or drink anything the past three months...however, its good to remember how he lived. he lived a wonderful life, and its only wonderful because hes a great man. nothing brought him down. he lived to help and spread karate.
Rest In Peace,,,Father.....
