First and foremost I am happy that Laura Ling and Lee Euna are free and are coming home! That is the most important part.

However on the other hand, one must ask the question, did Kim Jong-Il do this at the goodness of his own heart? Or was there some backside deal where Kim Jong-Il got an incentive for the prisoners(read hostages) release?

  • HAving insomnia this morning I tuned into the news mix. I followed all the news and found it curious that Fox news berated Clinton for securing their release. Let's look at facts. The young ladies was never placed in a prison. They were kept in a restrained place but never entered their prison system. Off course they were used for propaganda by korea but, because Clinton was asked for, Fox felt they had to down the whole process. Shame on Fox. The women are free!

  • So glad to see them came home. but it also seems little funny n curious cause theyd been sentenced 12 years of hard labor but now they are released so very quick after the visit of Bill Clinton. I dont know whats going on behind the iron curtain.

  • just saw it on the news
