This is a tutorial showing you how to get your footage from your Flip camera in a format that allows you to edit in iMovie 08.

Sorry for the quailty and the shakiness, I was holding the camera the whole time while trying to click around on the computer.

If this tutorial is helpful to you, I will re-record another video with better quality and a stable camera. Just let me know.

I just threw this together real quick to give you a general idea on how to do it.

  • You don't have to buy Quicktime. Drag the DCIM files from the Flip, and you drag them to your desktop. They are automatically .MP4!!! You then just go onto iMovie, then File: Import Movies: choose your files, and bam

  • sminman Dude great video.. One thing though you dog is NOT much an actor he keeps looking at the camera while your filming him
