I wonder how many people are familiar with the fact the the main theme was actually written about 10 years before Weber wrote this musical by Latvian composer Imants Kalniņš. If You don't believe me, just search YouTube for "Viņi dejoja vienu vasaru"

Omg! I remember this when I was like 5 years old and it was on the previews of my barney movie. Truly sad! Where have the years gone? It seems just like yesterday I was watching it! Oh what I would give to be 5 again! So cruel.
