does this STi have a RWD Conversion?

its got dccd so you can heavily weight rear wheel power split.. but why would you even consider converting an AWD to RWD?

if RWD is what you want, get a supra.

actually why not my 08 STi has already been converted to RWD and it feels so much better into the corners but sadly mostly in dry. if it was in wet it will just turn into fun... and the walls and curbs just comes with it

i didnt say it was impossible, just that i dont understand any reasons why this would be done given the cost and alternatives.

though, id be interested in seeing yours if youve got pics or a vid..

nice driving....but the tail of the car seems extremely happy, even using footbrake alone the tail would go sideways at a turn...probably it's running with gravel tires(as a scout car to go into different SS sections before actual time attack starts @ rally japan)...though i can't agree on this is the "proper" way to drive a STI....sliding here and there keep you losing speed at corners...just my 2 cents

@Binarymein Its called straight cut gears.. and has nothing to do with the turbo. This transmission has no syncro's and much wider dog gears which is why he can flat foot shift and do all the clutchless shifting he does in this video.

What is the RPM related whine? Is the transmission that hardcore? I would love a tranny that solid! It must be the turbo spool... the public doesn't like noise from anything but goofy subwoofers.
