NOVA | Ape Genius | PBS
While other apes can play, make and use tools, solve problems, learn and imitate, cooperate, have sense of fairness, have emotion if not love, know number sequences, have excellent memory, know about human language and read other minds,
So what's so special about us?

What is a safe way? Unless you mean being their caretaker of some sort in a zoo. I don't see any other way besides being a scientist.

I understand that apes are strong, and obviously I wasn't intending on just running over to a group of apes and expect them to play with me. Clearly if I were to want to work with apes I would do so in a safe way.

Me too but you can't risk the possibility of them tearing you limb from limb. A chimp can probably lift more than its own bodyweight and easily tear you apart. They are wild animals but very intelligent sometimes.

  • Oh my god. I friggen love apes. I can't stand it. I need to figure out a way to work with apes without being a scientist...

  • @FireStormBaller I know right! haha!

  • It's Ceasar!

  • People for year believed we were the only tool makers..WRONG!

  • But the pixels.

  • Good video
